I forgot how crazy and stressful it is to move. After 3.5 great years, the house is finally sold (well, it will be after closing later today), and we are in the midst of packing our 1900 square foot house for a move into a 950 square foot apartment. All I can say is, good thing that half our stuff or better is already in storage in Tulsa pending our move there hopefully by the end of the year. On top of making this move on Saturday, I go back to work and Colten goes to his first day of daycare on Monday. Pray for us! And, remember, if you have time Saturday, feel free to come on over and help with the move. We plan to start around 9:00 a.m.

I don't know what I did....
but it's done. Tired of feeling frumpy with long hair that I only ever pulled up, I braved the waters of a cut and style. I visited Mouton's Salon, based on several recommendations, and met my friend Melanie's stylist, Kelly. I showed her a pic I had found online of what I kinda wanted to do. When all was said and done, we realized it kinda looks like Melanie's style. Thus, it was dubbed "The Melanie." I still haven't decided how I feel about it, but I am sure I will love it in the end. Thanks for the recommendation Melanie! Hope you don't mind me kinda stealing your 'do.

College gear
Shortly after Colten was born, we emailed our alumni association to tell them the news (because they send monthly emails with goings-on, etc.). Well, imagine our surprise when we recently received a darling t-shirt for him in the mail. Looks like Colten can start planning his college career already. Go Bison!

On the hunt...
for an apartment. Yep, you read that right. It looks like our house is actually going to sell. We are in the option period through Friday, but after that, it should be a done deal with us closing on the 27th. So, because things are not ready for us to move to Tulsa just yet, we are looking for an apartment to live in for at least the next 6 months. The search has been a little frustrating so far because we have to have a garage for Kev's Makita stuff, but I am sure we will find something. Then, the challenge will be packing and moving with a newborn before I go back to work on March 2nd. Wish us luck!
